Sustain, LLC respects a customer’s private information and is committed to protecting it from misuse. Our current policies on personally identifiable information concerning our customers are outlined in our Privacy Policy, which also covers store and web operations and sales. We reserve the right to change our policy from time to time due to law changes or enhancements in our systems and functionality, so we encourage you, whenever you visit our stores or web site, to read a copy of our current policy which is always posted here on this page. Basic Privacy Principles
These basic principles apply to Sustain LLC’s entire enterprise, regardless of whether information is gathered through stores or our Web site.

Any of our customer’s identity information, gathered or learned by us during business transactions, is considered to be a consumer’s personally identifiable information. These identifiers can include any or all of the following: name, address, telephone number, email address, government-issued numbers (such as social security) or financial account identifier (such as a credit card number). Personally identifiable information can also include information about a person’s past and/or present purchases. The extent of this information is based on the extent the information is directly associated with a person’s identity information

However, Sustain LLC does not consider all information gathered through business operations to be personally identifiable. Any information that is not identity information or directly associated with identity information is not considered personally identifiable and becomes general company data. For example, Sustain LLC may view and use a database of a purchaser’s history in aggregate, not identifying the individual customer’s personally identifiable information, but rather strictly using the data for statistical or general purposes.

We will use the personally identifiable information, obtained through our interactions and sales with you, only for reasonably anticipated purposes as specified below and without your consent. Reasonably anticipated purposes directly contacting you for the purposes of answering your questions, fulfilling orders, obtaining any needed or missing billing or payment information, follow-up questions for your highest satisfaction, and with your consent, personal contact with additional information. All of these reasonably anticipated purposes are for maintaining efficient, satisfactory business interactions with you.

We absolutely do not and will not share, sell or trade your personally identifiable information with third parties. Store Operations
The following policies and principles apply specifically to our store operations, in addition to the Basic Privacy Principles listed and discussed above.

Our stores provide you, the customer, with the opportunity to discuss our products and services with a store associate, and you may place orders or make purchases through one of our associates in the stores. When your order is taken, additional personally identifiable information will be needed including information regarding payment. While this may require that your personally identifiable information be shared among our different offices, representatives or service providers such as the store, warehouses, headquarters, the manufacturers of purchased products, freight carriers, or credit card merchant banks or other bankers, we will only use that personally identifiable information to fulfill your order. Only reasonably required, contractually obligated, trusted third parties will have access to portions of your personally identifiable information strictly for order-fulfillment.

Obligations concerning the security of your credit card numbers or laws applying to the use and storage of credit card numbers and information are defined and provided by our credit card merchants. We will comply with these requirements when using and storing your credit card information.

Web Operations
The following policies and principles apply specifically to our web operations, in addition to the Basic Privacy Principles listed and discussed above.

A third party e-commerce provider allows you to browse our product and place orders with us through an e-commerce system operated and maintained within our web site. Industry standard encryption methods such as HTTPS technology (secure-socket layer technology) protect and govern the portions of our web site that require your personal information, such as order placement. All credit card information and other sensitive personal information received in the purchasing process is encrypted during processing and is then received and stored by our third party e-commerce provider. We then receive your order information in our offices from the third party e-commerce provider through encrypted, secure methods for processing for fulfillment of your order. When fulfilling your order, we use our normal purchasing system subject to the privacy policies outlined above.

We trust to a reasonable degree that the third party e-commerce provider we have chosen will obey their contract with us and maintain your personal information’s security and confidentiality. Your personal information is destroyed by the third party provider after they have used it for the purposes of assisting with the fulfillment of your order only, and is obligated under contract to do so. Once your personal information leaves the third party offices and is successfully and directly transmitted to ours, it is automatically erased from all third party records and databases. You will be asked to re-enter all credit card (or similar) data with each future transaction you make with us. This is for the protection of your personal information and is a way to enhance your security.

You can create a personal account with us by creating a user name and password followed by general contact information. This information is personally identifiable and is used to help us personalize and enhance our services to you. However, a personal account is not required for general use of our web site and is strictly voluntary outside of submitting an order to purchase.

We will require parental consent for the collection of personally identifiable information from persons under age 13 and will not knowingly do so as our web site is not targeted to this age group. Without contrary knowledge, we will assume that all personally identifiable information comes from users over the age of thirteen.
